HEBRON, Israeli-occupied West Bank — A Jewish settler opened fire Friday on Palestinians who stoned his car in the West Bank town of Hebron, killing one and wounding three, Arab hospital officials and witnesses said.
In a separate incident in Hebron, an army patrol opened fire on masked Palestinian youths who pelted them with stones, Israel Radio said. It reported one Arab was killed.
The army had no immediate report on that incident. It imposed a curfew on Hebron, confining all Palestinian residents to their homes, and blocked reporters from entering the West Bank city, which is about 20 miles south of Jerusalem.
