Killing of a Deer

I would like to congratulate the “marksmen” of the Laguna Beach Police Department who persevered in their struggle to kill a defenseless immobile buck deer (Sept. 9). May I assume that their 22 rounds established a new record for accuracy and that the first 21 shots did not contribute to the misery he was so humanely being put out of? Unbelieveable!
