H. Ross Perot has countersued his former company, Electronic Data Systems, after the computer services firm accused him in a lawsuit of violating a covenant against competing with EDS. Perot, former chairman of the Dallas-based company, filed the countersuit Friday in U.S. District Court. Perot founded EDS in 1962 and sold it to General Motors Corp. in 1984. Last week, EDS filed a suit in which it claimed that Perot had violated an agreement to refrain from competing with the data processing company for at least three years after he left the company.
