In another Northwest Valley Conference game:
San Fernando 49, Canoga Park 0--Quarterback Michael Wynn completed 10 of 14 passes for 156 yards and 5 touchdowns, 4 to wide receiver Sean Williams, to lead the Tigers at Canoga Park.
Williams caught 6 passes for 121 yards to lead all receivers.
After fumbling on its first series, San Fernando scored on 5 of its next 6 possessions and led at halftime, 36-0.
San Fernando scored its first 2 touchdowns within a 3-minute span in the first quarter. Williams scored his first touchdown on a 24-yard pass from Wynn. On San Fernando’s next possession, Wynn connected with wide receiver Eddie Carrillo on a 7-yard scoring pass.
San Fernando running back Maurice McFarland rushed for a game-high 108 yards in 14 carries and scored a touchdown.
The Tigers outgained the Hunters, 424 total yards to 81.
Canoga Park’s David Erhardt completed 9 of 15 for 75 yards. Greg Knapp led Hunter receivers with 5 receptions for 55 yards.
