Jaycees’ Factory of Nightmares

The North Hills Jaycees’ annual factory of nightmares will open for business today and every weekend until the last howl of the final haunting of the Halloween season.
“The skits, set, atmosphere and cast of characters in makeup is better than we’ve had in recent years,” hissed Jaycees president Tom Williams. “They should be the most frightening in the 14-year history of our event.”
That means seven scary rooms beneath one terror-filled tent featuring frightening themes and macabre moments borrowed from horror movies of the post-modern period--”Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Motel Hell,” and “Aliens.”
Located at 11850 Foothill Blvd., close to the Osborne Street exit on the 210 Freeway, the factory is open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturday and Halloween night and until 10 pm. on Sundays. Admission is $6 and for further information: (818) 365-7773.
