Weekend TV : Push to Get Out the Vote, Movie Poll Take Back Seat to World Series

Your favorite comics, movies and soon-to-be favorite spy cap off a weekend that undoubtedly will be dominated by Dodger delirium.
Tonight at 9 on ABC, Billy Crystal, Lily Tomlin and Robin Williams headline “An All-Star Celebration: The ’88 Vote,” a comedy and music special that encourages viewers to vote next month.
On Sunday, Jerry Lewis hosts “America Picks the All-Time Favorite Movies” (8 p.m. on ABC), in which viewers can call a special number to register their votes for the best action, drama, comedy and science-fiction films of all time.
Finally, John le Carre’s “A Perfect Spy” comes to television in the first of a seven-part PBS adaptation. It will air Sunday at 8 p.m. on Channels 24 and 50 and 9 p.m. on Channel 28. Peter Egan portrays the double-dealing Magnus Pym in this story of espionage and psychological intrigue.
