Bates Situation
I am sickened with outrage that a U.S. congressman can openly admit his guilt (re: Congressman Jim Bates and charges of sexual harassment) and then try to pass it off as an apology and blame it on the absence of “an appropriate role model.”
This man is representing us in Congress and should be able to control himself. His behavior has threatened the careers of about 20 women.
He should be impeached and charged, as any criminal would be. It is time that Congress realizes it is not above the law.
