Boxing officials have hailed the World Boxing Assn.’s new anti-doping regulations as “timely and necessary.”
During its annual convention, the WBA passed regulations making it mandatory for fighters in championship bouts to undergo an official urine test either before or after the fight in the presence of a WBA official.
