PREP FOOTBALL : Pacific Coast League : Seymour Gets 3 Scores to Lead Woodbridge

Scott Seymour scored 3 touchdowns to lead Woodbridge High School to a 28-6 victory over Laguna Hills in a Pacific Coast League game Friday at Irvine High School.
Laguna Hills (0-7, 0-2) took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter when Mike Allison intercepted a Fred Schweer pass and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown.
Woodbridge (7-0, 2-0) took the lead in the second quarter on a 50-yard touchdown pass from Schweer to Seymour. Troy Holmes’ extra point made it 7-6.
Seymour scored again in the second quarter on a 11-yard run. Holmes’ conversion gave the Warriors a 14-6 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Seymour broke loose for a 47-yard touchdown run.
Woodbridge’s final touchdown came on a 17-yard pass from Schweer to Alex Zaldivar.
