Wynn Named BIA Southland Unit President

Mel Wynn, president of Glenfed Development Corp., has been elected president of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California, the regional representative for residential and light commercial/industrial builders and developers in five Southern California counties.
Chapters and regions include Antelope Valley, Baldy View, Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside County, Pasadena and Santa Barbara/Ventura.
Wynn said his goal is to increase membership from its current level of 2,200 companies to 2,500, “promoting active participation in BIA.”
Roy Humphreys, president of Shea Homes, was elected first vice president. George Lightner, president of Lightner Development & Contracting, was elected secretary-treasurer.
