Company: Data Power Inc., Costa Mesa Penalty: $800 Violation: Failure to obtain a permit to operate a degreaser. Company: Circle K Corp., Fountain Valley Penalty: $800 Violation: Failure to maintain gasoline vapor recovery equipment. Company: All American Asphalt, Westminster Penalty: $750 Violation: Excessive emissions of carbon monoxide from an aggregate dryer. Company: Hinckley & Schmitt Co. of California, Orange Penalty: $750 Violation: Operating a paint spray booth without a permit, using spray equipment that resulted in excessive hydrocarbon emissions and using paint with excessive solvent content. Company: Beatrice/Hunt-Wesson, Fullerton Penalty: $700 Violation: Visible emissions from a boiler. Company: Cremar Crematory, Anaheim Penalty: $700 Violation: Visible emissions from a furnace. Company: Los Alamitos Iron Designs, Cypress Penalty: $700 Violation: Excessive hydrocarbon emissions from a paint drying oven. Company: Wilshire Bedding,Buena Park Penalty: $700 Violation: Operating a paint spray booth contrary to permit conditions. * Because of similar fines, this month’s list includes 8 entries.
