Fantastic Look Wins Second Straight Start

Fantastic Look, running for just the second time, scored her second victory in two weeks by winning the $25,000 feature race for 2-year-old fillies at Hollywood Park Thursday.

Ridden by Chris McCarron, Fantastic Look stayed just back of early pacesetter Flash Cube, moved ahead after 6 furlongs, then held off Kelly by a half-length. She’s Sure Shady was another five lengths behind in third place, while Flash Cube faded to last in the five-horse field.

Fantastic Look covered the mile in 1:35 4/5 and paid $2.40, $2.10 and $2.10. Kelly, ridden by Pat Valenzuela, paid $2.20 and $2.10. The show payoff on She’s Sure Shady was $2.10.
