Monroe 28, Van Nuys 22--Curtis Scott rushed for 191 yards in 28 carries and scored 2 touchdowns and quarterback Jesse Wallace threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Vikings to the league championship.
With Monroe leading 21-3 in the second quarter, Van Nuys quarterback Keith Quigley threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Alyas Atash. Quigley completed 11 of 18 for 167 yards and 1 touchdown. Atash finished with 6 catches for 108 yards.
