SOUTHERN SECTION FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS : DIVISION III : Dominguez Takes Care of Katella, 21-8

Dominguez High School jumped to a 21-0 lead and coasted to a 21-8 victory over Katella Friday in the first round of the Southern Section Division III playoffs at Dominguez.
Kenny Barnes rushed for 125 yards and scored on runs of 41 and 2 yards for Dominguez (10-1). He also ran for a 2-point conversion.
Bruce Walker scored Dominguez’s first touchdown on a 15-yard run in the first quarter.
Joe Pastorello scored on a 4-yard run for Katella (6-4-1) in the second quarter.
