Word of Thanks to Campaign Workers

As a recent candidate for office, I would like to thank, on behalf of myself and all other candidates, all those people who worked in our behalf. It is heartening to know that there are so many people who are willing to give selflessly of their time and money to make our democratic system work.
Whether we won or lost, we all had people who believed in each of us and what we stood for. They were willing to stand up and be counted and that makes them all winners.
If we all continue to be active in the affairs of our communities we can do nothing but enhance the quality of life for all of us.
