NHL Roundup : Lafleur Loses to Former Team

Russ Courtnall scored the tie-breaking goal in the second period and the Montreal Canadiens went on to a 4-2 victory over the Rangers at New York Monday night in Guy Lafleur’s first appearance against his former team.
Lafleur, who came out of retirement this season to play for the Rangers and who scored 518 goals in 14 seasons for the Canadiens, scored a goal in the first period.
Toronto 4, St. Louis 0--Tom Fergus scored three consecutive goals and goalie Allan Bester made 21 saves as the Maple Leafs won at home against the Blues.
Ed Olczyk also scored for the Maple Leafs.
