Chapman Women Beat Chico in Basketball

Corine Sandfry scored 17 points to lead Chapman College women’s basketball team to a 85-80 nonconference victory over Cal State Chico Wednesday night at Chapman.
Julie King added 15 points for Chapman, which was playing its season opener. Chico is 1-1.
