Israeli soldiers, attacked by stone-throwing youths, opened fire in the market of a Gaza Strip refugee camp, killing an Arab woman who was shopping nearby, Palestinians sources said. However, Israeli army officials said Nawal abu Thorya, about 40, died after being shot fatally in the head in a family feud in the Shati refugee camp. An autopsy showed that “she was shot from a weapon that is not army-issued,” a military spokesman said. Elsewhere, hospital officials in Jerusalem said that Marwan Kneiry, 27, from the West Bank village of Yabad, died after being hospitalized Nov. 7 with a concussion and bruises. Military officials said he was attacked “by local villagers in a feud between two clans.”
