Controversy Over Toxic Incinerator
If U.S. Rep. Edward R. Roybal (D-Pasadena) and his daughter, Assemblywoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Los Angeles) are in sympathy with the residents of Vernon and believe this incinerator is hazardous, please what is their recommendation for the disposal of hazardous waste? Roybal has been in Congress a number of years, what is his recommendation?
Do we ship it to another state, perhaps Utah or Nevada? They may not welcome this material. Do we send it to another county in California? Perhaps it can be disposed of in our California desert.
Don’t the people of California deserve leadership from their elected officials rather than reaction to problems that evolve over a long period of time and that are ignored by them until a crisis situation arises?
