SOUTHERN SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL GAMES : Division VII : Santos Lifts San Marino Past Santa Maria, 19-11

Robbie Santos kicked 2 field goals and scored a touchdown Saturday night to lead San Marino High School to a 19-11 win over visiting Santa Maria in the Southern Section Division VII final.
Santos kicked field goals of 27 and 45 yards and ran 2 yards for the clinching touchdown late in the fourth quarter for the Titans. Santos set up the touchdown when he intercepted a pass and returned it to the Santa Maria 21. Santos gained 62 yards in 17 carries.
San Marino (12-0-1) took the lead, 12-11, with 3:10 left on Mark Ukropina’s 1-yard run.
Santa Maria (12-2) built an 11-3 halftime lead on Brad Dandridge’s 3-yard run and Carlos Gonzalez’s 29-yard field goal.
