Two men and two women were killed before dawn today when their car went off the side of twisting California 39 in the Angeles National Forest, a few miles north of Glendora, and plummeted more than 600 feet into the San Gabriel Reservoir.
The four victims were found inside the car, which was buried in rocks 15 feet under the surface of the water. All four bodies were recovered, the California Highway Patrol said, but no identities were immediately determined.
