NetAir International, a Van Nuys provider of charter aircraft service, said it earned $46,861 in its fiscal second quarter that ended Sept. 30, against a year-earlier loss of $3,823.
The profit was on a 19% gain in revenue, to $2.5 million from $2.1 million. NetAir, which attributed the earnings improvement to higher revenue and cost controls, said its profit for the first 6 months of its fiscal year more than tripled from a year ago, to $78,957 from $22,368. Six-month revenue climbed 21% to $4.46 million from $3.68 million.
All of NetAir’s earnings results amounted to less than a penny per share because the company has about 21 million shares outstanding.
