I’m flipping through the Jan. 22 Calendar and then bam!--Page 12. Five days after a drifter used an assault rifle on Stockton schoolchildren, a full-page movie ad for “No Surrender, No Retreat II” has a weapon looking much like the one used in the killings.
Wake up, moviegoers: Don’t go see films that have nothing to sell but fire power.
