Duarte : Council Reelects Mayor

In an annual reshuffling of the City Council, council members reelected Mayor John Hitt and Mayor Pro Tem Terry Michaelis to second terms last week.
Councilman John Fasana, formerly the vice chairman of the Duarte Redevelopment Agency, replaces Michaelis as chairman of the board. Councilwoman Ginny Joyce was elected vice chairwoman.
Council members, who also serve as agency board members, can reorganize their ranks every November.
