Local : Woodland Hills Crash Kills Woman

A motorist was killed and two others were injured today in Woodland Hills when a car making a turn on rain-slick streets and an oncoming Jeep collided, Los Angeles police said.
The identities of the woman killed and the two men injured in the 8 a.m. accident on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Erwin Street were not released.
Sgt. Joe Cross said a car with a man and woman in it was heading southbound on Topanga Canyon Boulevard and attempted to turn left on to Erwin Street. The driver of the northbound Jeep was unable to stop and the two vehicles collided.
The woman, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene of the accident. The driver was hospitalized with unknown injuries while the driver of the Jeep was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
