Mayor Tom Bradley will attend an Eastside Campaign Office Voter Participation Rally, 4:30 p.m. today, 2310 Pasadena Ave., Los Angeles.
Councilman Nate Holden speaks at 12:30 p.m. to volunteers at his San Fernando Valley headquarters, 15315 Magnolia Blvd. After his speech at 1 p.m., Holden will attend a St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Hollywood Boulevard, from Argyle Avenue to Orange Drive.
CITY COUNCIL RACES
Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky in the 5th District has been endorsed by the Los Angele Police Protective League.
COLLEGE BOARD RACE
Jeffrey Shane, a Beverly Hills attorney and candidate for Office No. 6, hopes to get some campaign financing help from a $100-per-person fund-raiser Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the home of Buddy and Terie Socransky, 2311 Achilles Drive, Los Angeles.
BOARD OF EDUCATION RACE
Mark Slavkin, deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Edmund D. Edelman and a candidate in District 2, will hold a $75-per-person fund-raiser on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., at the carrousel on the Santa Monica Pier. Slavkin recently opened his campaign headquarters at 12113 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 203, Los Angeles.
