Commercial Scene : UC San Diego Signs Lease on Warehouse

UC San Diego has signed a $3.6-million, 10-year lease for 55,000 square feet of space in the Miramar Distribution Center, a 293,000-square-foot warehouse complex at 7835 Trade St., San Diego.
The space will be used to house the university’s in-house graphics department and for storage purposes. The San Diego office of John Burnham & Co. Commercial Real Estate represented the university in the negotiations and the San Diego office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate represented the owner, Sudberry Properties Inc.
