The joint national boards of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) have unanimously approved the early contract settlement reached last weekend with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Televisin Producers and the three television networks. Secret ballots will be mailed to members for ratification, with an April 28 return deadline. The contracts cover 102,000 film and prime-time television performers, and the settlement came two months before negotiations were to begin.
