‘Georgia for Georgians’

Now the communists are begging for the Western capitalists to patch up their failing system. They also show no willingness to give it up, though time and again, it has proven itself as a dismal failure.
The population of the Georgian Republic has spoken: “We don’t need the Russians!” at cost of some 20 lives and many injured. Once again, the democratic world witnessed “communism in the raw” and how it handles the basic human need for the freedom of expression.
In my own opinion, all the talk about democracy in the Soviet Union is just so much nonsense. The Russians, who are the ethnic majority, will do anything, to preserve their “greater nation” status.
Although witnessed by Western democracies, the Georgian cry for democracy and independence will soon be forgotten by them. The well-intentioned, but misinformed, will hold a human rights conference in Moscow.
