A 1,200-pound safe containing secret military documents is still missing from the Fallbrook Naval Weapons Station, a Navy spokesman said. Someone loaded the safe onto a motor pool truck and then drove away from the base, located near San Diego, last weekend. The safe reportedly contained three documents classified as secret by the Navy. Two of those documents were said to be Marine Corps small arms manuals containing classified information on the number and types of weapons carried by certain Navy ships and Marine Corps units. Also reported stolen was a new design for a maintenance procedure involving bombs and missiles stored on Navy vessels.
