Airline Passenger Traffic in June at John Wayne Grows 5.6% Over 1988 : HOTELS/TOURISM

Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased to 415,405 in June, a 5.6% jump compared with the 393,286 recorded during the same period last year.
Meanwhile, recently released data from John Wayne Airport shows that air carrier flight operations showed a 0.3% drop from levels recorded in June, 1988, while commuter airline operations were up 74.1% for the same period.
Total aircraft operations climbed 0.4% last month to 48,085 from 47,897 recorded during June of last year, the airport data revealed.
General aviation activity, which accounted for 83% of the total aircraft operations in June, showed a 2.7% drop when compared to the same month in 1988.
