Longeway Pitches 1-Hitter in Batbusters’ Victory

Cheryl Longeway pitched a one-hitter as the Orange County Batbusters defeated Pennsylvania North Hampton, 10-0, Thursday in the first round of the American Softball Assn. tournament in Midland, Tex.
Longeway struck out nine and didn’t walk a batter. She also had two hits and three runs batted in.
