GIBRALTAR — A forest fire swept through the British colony of Gibraltar at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, witnesses said Friday.
Hundreds of firefighters took most of a day to control the blaze that began Thursday afternoon and destroyed hundreds of trees.
