Adams Resigns Job as SCC Baseball Coach

Doug Adams has resigned as baseball coach at Southern California College, the school announced Friday.
Adams, who played at SCC from 1971 to ‘74, said he wants to pursue other coaching opportunities. He had two stints as coach at SCC, first from 1976 to 1981.
He returned to coach the Vanguards the past two seasons, when SCC was 53-54. SCC was 30-21 last season and reached the playoffs.
