Angeles Corp., the Los Angeles investment management company, has announced that two of its top executives have withdrawn from day-to-day operations as officers, but continue as directors. Lawrence J. Winston of Garden City, N.Y., and Richard E. Landau of New York, have resigned as vice chairmen and as members of the Angeles executive committee to pursue other business interests. Winston and Landau were founders and principals of the privately owned Quinoco Cos., a group of Denver-based oil and gas companies that were combined with Angeles Corp. in 1984 in a diversification move by both firms. They became directors and officers of Angeles at that time.
