Commercial Scene : McCarthy Is Contractor on Airport Parking Project

McCarthy, an Irvine-based builder, has been awarded a $22.3-million construction contract to serve as general contractor for a new parking structure at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
The contract calls for McCarthy to build a 950,000-square-foot, two-story structure with space for 2,800 cars. Completion is expected next March.
