Notre Dame retained its No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press college football poll, and Pittsburgh made it into the top 10 for the first time in five years.
The Irish held onto the top spot in the poll for the fourth consecutive week. Miami remained No. 2. Nebraska was No. 3 followed by Auburn, Colorado, Michigan, Clemson, Arkansas, West Virginia and Pittsburgh. USC was 11th.
