LOCAL : Man Killed Near Anaheim Bar

A 34-year-old man died early today after he was shot in front of an Anaheim bar, police said.
Silvino Casillas Garcia of Anaheim was shot in the upper body and died at Western Medical Center at 12:10 a.m., police said. He was found about an hour earlier lying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk in front of the El Tropico Bar, 900 S. Anaheim Blvd., said Anaheim Police Lt. John Cross.
Several witnesses told police that they heard a gunshot and saw another man flee the area, but they could give no description of the killer. Cross said police were trying to learn what prompted the slaying.
