World IN BRIEF : ISRAEL : Soldiers Kill Arab Woman, Wound 16

Israeli troops shot and killed an Arab woman and wounded at least 16 other people in fresh clashes in the occupied Gaza Strip after the army lifted curfews imposed on a PLO anniversary, hospitals said. Suad abu Saker, 30, was shot in the head in Khan Yunis, they reported. She was the ninth Palestinian to be killed since Saturday. Israeli troops killed four Arabs on Tuesday, the 26th anniversary of the first military campaign by the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Fatah movement.
