U.S. Readiness in Persian Gulf

As a World War II veteran of the Salerno and Normandy D-Day landings, I am deeply offended by the warlike posturing of Cheney.
Here is a politician who has not spent a single day of his life in the armed services of his country. Yet he is hair-trigger quick to give up on sanctions. He and Powell told our troops in Saudi Arabia to prepare for all-out war very soon. Easy enough for him to say. I doubt that there are any younger generation Cheneys poised for battle, either.
