KPCC and KCRW

Sean Mitchell’s Jan. 6 article on Pasadena City College’s radio station KPCC was quite flattering. However, it gives the impression that student involvement in KPCC is minimal. In fact the principal purpose of the radio station is to train students in radio production and operations.
Students not only get valuable experience on the air but also are involved in the preparation of newscasts and are an active and innate part of the technical transmission of the KPCC radio signal.
