In other City Eastern League games:

Serra 57, Point Loma 34--Justin Wible scored 14 points and Tony Etheridge added 13 for sixth-ranked Serra (12-4, 4-0). Eddie Greer scored 11 points to lead Point Loma (3-16, 1-3).

City Western League

Mission Bay 51, University City 48--John Price scored the winning basket on a lay up with 15 seconds left on an assist from Andy Guyader. Price scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Rick Moe added 10 points for Mission Bay (5-13, 1-3) in its upset of University City (9-7, 2-2). Ray Hooper scored 23 points to lead University City.

USDHS 80, La Jolla 35--Dave Silva had a season-high 19 points and Eric Barajas had 17 points and nine assists as the ninth-ranked Dons improved to 14-4, 3-1. Joe Clark chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds for USDHS, which outscored La Jolla (1-15, 1-3) in the first half, 45-13.

Citrus League

Tri-City Christian 79, Calvin Christian 59--Nathan Durrance scored 28 points and Jeff Lemke added 23 for Tri-City Christian, who improved to 4-1 in league play. Jeremy Smits led Calvin Christian with 24 points.

City Harbor League

Christian 73, Marian 43--David Piester scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Vince Clark added 15 points for Christian (15-4, 4-0). Marian fell to 11-10 and 2-2.

Coronado 80, St. Augustine 72--Jason Switzer scored a game-high 28 points and Adam Smith added 15 for Coronado (5-14, 1-3). St. Augustine fell to 10-9 and 2-2.

City Central League

Lincoln 79, Crawford 47--Berry Randle scored 29 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and had 11 steals for fifth-ranked Lincoln (13-8, 4-0). Archie Robinson (11 points), John Akridge (10 points) and Hosa Baker (10 points) were also in double figures for the Hornets. Crawford fell to 3-15 and 0-4.

San Diego 73, Hoover 71--J.R. Greer and Marino Bowman scored 20 points each for seventh-ranked San Diego (14-3, 3-1). Mike Watson scored 10 points and added a team-high 11 rebounds. Roger Blake scored 25 points for Hoover (9-7, 2-2).

Citrus League

La Jolla Country Day 73, Santa Fe Christian 59--Daniel Sparling scored 16 points and Josh Tepper had 14 points and eight assists for LJCD (14-4, 6-1). Dave Ulrich led Santa Fe Christian (6-10, 2-5) with 13 points.

Nonleague

Madison 71, Clairemont 66--Senior forward Jermaine Spicer scored 11 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out six assists to lead Madison (9-8). Alex Love scored a game-high 25 points for Clairemont (7-8).

Kearny 67, Mira Mesa 58--Ali Nayab scored 26 points, including six consecutive free throws in the fourth quarter to ice the game, Darnay Scott had 16 points for third-ranked Kearny (16-5).
