Countywide : Lecture by Kissinger to Benefit Red Cross

The Ventura County chapter of the American Red Cross will receive the proceeds from Ventura County National Bank’s sixth annual “An Evening With . . .” series April 23 at the Oxnard Civic Center.
This year’s program will be a lecture by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
The Red Cross was chosen because it is “a vital bridge between families here and our armed forces overseas,” said William McAleer, bank chief executive officer. Bank officials hope that the event will raise more than $50,000.
Tickets to the series are $25 to $50, depending on the seat location, and will go on sale in early April.
