Raising Sales Tax to Build Jail

We should have built a new jail 10 years ago before this problem became so terrible. If it’s money we need to keep criminals locked up, then let’s put it to a vote and see if the voters think a jail is worth the price.
A half-cent sales tax sounds like a good idea to me. It’s a small price to protect my family.
