Two men have been charged with the execution-style murder of a man and woman who were found Feb. 13 in the gated garage of their Los Feliz apartment building, police said Wednesday.
Darryl Polk, 26, and Tony Leater, 27, both of Los Angeles, were charged with first-degree murder in the slayings of Tanee Yemsvat, 38, and his wife, Kemika Sae-Aow, 29. The victims, both citizens of Thailand, were found bound and shot to death in their car beneath the Los Feliz Club Apartments on North New Hampshire Avenue.
Detective Aaron Martin of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Asian crime investigation unit said the suspects were arrested Monday and were scheduled to be arraigned late Wednesday in Los Angeles Municipal Court. Martin declined to comment on any motive.
