Two HQ Sales Are Stapled Down: HQ Office Supplies Warehouse Inc. said Wednesday that it has completed the sale of its Fullerton and Bellflower stores to Staples Inc. The sales are in keeping with Long Beach-based HQ’s decision last year to pull out of the hotly competitive Southern California market for office supplies and concentrate on its Canadian operations. HQ also plans to sell stores in Industry Hills, Covina, West Los Angeles, Culver City and Woodland Hills to Staples, a Newton, Mass.-based chain of office-supply stores.
