MISSION VIEJO : St. Patrick Parade to Take Place Today

The 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at noon today, with local Marines and their families serving as grand marshals.
About 20,000 people are expected to view the parade, which begins at Marguerite Parkway and Olympiad Road.
Although the parade route is returning to Marguerite Parkway, city officials say they don’t expect major traffic problems while the street is blocked.
Parade Route Road closure: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
