Loy’s Legacy: Boston University says it has acquired the papers of screen star Myrna Loy, whose career spanned both silent movies and talkies. Loy, 86, starred in “The Thin Man” movie series, “The Best Years of Our Lives” and other films. She will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Academy Awards ceremony. The collection contains annotated scripts, letters and playbills.
