Andrew L. Barrett has been named president and chief executive of StarKist Seafood Co., the Long Beach-based unit of H. J. Heinz Co., Pittsburgh. Barrett, 47, previously president and chief executive of H. J. Heinz Co. of Canada, succeeds Keith A. Hauge, who was named chairman of StarKist.
