Spencer Elected: Susan Spencer has been named to replace Lesley Stahl as White House correspondent for CBS News. Spencer, who has been the medical correspondent for the network, recently has added foreign-news coverage from China and the Persian Gulf War to her resume. Stahl, who is joining “60 Minutes,” also has been the moderator for “Face the Nation.” Stahl is expected to continue her Sunday-morning anchor job through this summer. No “Face the Nation” replacement has been named.
